ICAT Allergy / Antigen Profile and Other Blood Tests for Mold Sickness

The ICAT is a test that can indicate the insult (exposure) to the human body and the species of mold that the body has been exposed to, as well as allergic propensity of the patient.

How the ICAT test can be used as an effectively tool in mold litigation is that if the client’s takes the ICAT profile while in their contaminated environment, and the results come back abnormal or elevated, they can test again weeks after they have relocated again into a clean environment. If the second set of tests come back with lower levels this can strongly indicate that the environment was the cause of the insult (exposure).
